How to Get a Free Virus Scan and Removal - Sad to say but the internet is not the friendly place it once was, if it ever really was. With so much stuff out there and so many more people from around the world using it, it can get pretty scary trying to keep your computer safe. If you don't have an antivirus program installed OR you do but think you may have a virus that it is not finding then here is what I recommend.

Trend micro is a security company and they make their own line of antivirus products. They are one of the only companies out there that provides a FREE virus scan of your computer AND allows you to delete the infected files. Most of the other guys all want to give you the free scan but then make you pay for the removal.

You can go to the Trend Micro website, Trend Micro calls its online computer scanner the HouseCall system so don't be worried if you are seeing house call all over the website. If this does not fix your issue, you can download a great FREE antivirus program from any one of the big AV companies out there. I prefer Avast, Avira and AVG.

Simply do a search in Google for 'free avast" or "free avira" and you should have no trouble finding them. If you are a bit nervous about installing something like this yourself, youtube offers videos on how to download, install and update two of these products.

If you are still having issues and think it could be virus related, check out malwarebytes. It is a free program designed to fight off those things that are not technically viruses.
