One of the worlds top five manufactures of motherboards is MSI or otherwise known as Micro Star International. They also produce server cards, graphic cards, VGA cards, notebooks computers, Slim PC's, industrial computing devices, communication devices and consumer electronics.
This company is located in Taipei, Taiwan. Each month they produce over 2,100,000 motherboards, 900,000 VGA cards, 600,000 slim PC barebone systems and 1,000,000 optical storage devices. MSI branched out and made another factory located in China, that produces another 21 million motherboards per year.
Some of MSI products are part of other products such as motherboards for AMD or Intel Processors or graphic cards for NVIDIA or ATI. They have also created a VGA that has a TV tuner, PC camera, and card reader. Their sever cards support AMD and Intel processors that are available in workstation and rackmount designs.
MSI products that fall into the communication device category are wireless routers, Bluetooth devices, and combination wireless-Bluetooth products.
In the computer category, MSI has produced notebooks, in complete and barebone systems, along with desktops in bare bone also. The bare bone units allow the user more flexibility and configuration.
Finally in the Consumer electronic categories produced by MSI are Mp3 players, and multi-function Mp 3 players. The MSI MEGA Player 536 is a good example of the multi-function MP3 player. It contains a touch pad, Mp3 capabilities, photo and video playback and language learning capabilities.
Whether these products stand alone or that are incorporated into other products, this company is capable of manufacturing large amounts of computer products.
